PREP Framework

PREP is a future-ready framework for education, career, and life planning. It's structured, flexible, and designed to support learners—from secondary school through early career—while reducing burden on the families, educators, and systems that support them.

PREP is both a framework for institutions and the foundation of our coaching approach—supporting students and young professionals as they navigate education, career, and life transitions with clarity and intention.

PREP guides learners from reflection to action through four connected components.

PURPOSE

Purpose begins with helping students clarify who they are, what matters to them, and how they define success. This foundation supports identity, values, and direction.

READINESS

Readiness builds the essential skills and habits needed to succeed in real-world environments, focusing on skills, habits, and confidence.

EXPLORATION

Exploration exposes learners to a wide range of pathways and possibilities, supporting informed decision-making and alignment between interests, strengths, and options through exposure.

PLANNING

about us..png

Planning translates insight into action through clear, adaptable plans that connect long-term goals with practical next steps. It supports decisions, steps, and execution.

Together, these components create a repeatable framework that can be embedded into existing programs, advisory structures, and community-based initiatives—without adding unnecessary complexity or burden.

Why PREP Exists

Learners today are navigating increasingly complex education, career, and life decisions—often with limited time, uneven access to guidance, and fragmented support systems. PREP Pathways was developed to bring structure, clarity, and continuity to these transitions—supporting learners while reducing burden on the systems that serve them.

PREP For Schools & Organizations

PREP Pilot at a Glance

PREP Pathways is not a one-size-fits-all program. It is a framework that can be implemented in multiple ways, depending on context, capacity, and goals.

For schools, typically:

  • Duration: 6-8 weeks

  • Time Commitment: 2 × 20–35 min sessions per week (adaptable)

  • Setting: Advisory or CCR blocks

  • Facilitation: External (pilot phase)

  • Focus: Life readiness, postsecondary + career planning

  • Framework-led, not program-dependent

  • Culturally responsive and learner-centered

  • Designed for flexibility and scalability

  • Built to reduce—not add to—system burden

What Sets PREP Pathways Apart

Why Schools Choose PREP

Many college and career readiness programs focus primarily on options.
PREP focuses on readiness.

Through the pilot, students build skills directly connected to postsecondary success, including:

  • Time management and self-management

  • Communication and self-advocacy

  • Financial awareness and career realism

  • Decision-making and planning skills

These competencies are integrated into planning and pathway work—not taught as stand-alone lessons.

What Students Leave With

Students complete the pilot with:

  • A Purpose Profile

  • A Life Readiness Snapshot

  • A Career Reality Snapshot

  • Greater Pathway Clarity

  • A Personalized Action Plan
